A.T. Martial Arts training entered two of their students in the 2012 Canadian Championship Taekwondo Nationals Black Belt Tournament. The tournament was held in Vancouver, B.C. from January 12-13th with the Olympic trials January 14-15th and was an exciting event for spectators and participants alike. We would like to congratulate Adam Tomlinson, 15 and Taye Williams, 13 who both achieved a silver medal, which ranks them in second place of their divisions in Canada. Adam competed in the Light Heavy Weight Junior 'A' Nationals division and Taye was Junior 'B' Nationals Bantam. The scores were very close throughout their final matches and the overall results for Ontario competitors were extremely successful in the Junior Divisions with their performances of sharp, outstanding techniques. This achievement is not easily attained as it requires years of consistent taekwondo training, relentless determination, and exemplary martial arts instruction and coaching. Master Anthony Tomlinson is the instructor and coach of A.T. Martial Arts located in Whitby for the past 15 years. Along with their educational endeavors, Adam and Taye will strive to achieve many more years of success towards their goal of the 2015 Pan American Games in Ontario and ultimately the 2016 Olympics.
